President & Chair of the Board: Cheryl Perez
A public speaker and communicator by training, Cheryl was a 1993 graduate of Cardinal Mooney High School in Youngstown Ohio. While at Mooney, Cheryl was a Regional Champion of the National Championship speech and debate team, a Cheerleader, and Secretary of her senior Class. She earned her B.S. in Communication and Business at Ohio University in 1996 (cum laude) and her M.A. in International Business and Communications in 1997. Vice President of the Board: Jaietta Jackson
Jaietta Jackson is an educator from Youngstown, OH. She began her teaching career in the Youngstown City schools. She then advanced her career as a Communication Professor at Youngstown State University for the past fourteen years. Within the MAC, her work on membership, community outreach, and scholarship helps to promote diversity within Cardinal Mooney and aids in overseeing educational equality.

Nechelle P. Marlowe is a Nurse Manager at Wexner Medical Center at The Ohio State University, 460 W. 10th Avenue Columbus, Ohio. Nechelle P. Marlowe is a 1993 graduate of Cardinal Mooney High School in Youngstown, Ohio. She is married to 1993 graduate of Cardinal Mooney High School, Erik Marlowe. Together they have two lovely adult daughters and an adorable grandson. In December 1996, she graduated from Youngstown State University with an associate degree in Applied Science in Medical Assisting Technology. Nechelle relocated to Columbus, Ohio in March of 1997 completing her education at Mount Carmel College of Nursing, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing May, 2002.

Board of Directors will be created for the purpose of providing guidance, counsel and vision to the CMHS Minority
Alumni Council. The Board of Directors will be selected from the membership. All members of the Board of Directors
must be in good standing and registered as members of the Council, including their donations. All registrations by Directors are due no later than January 15th each year (with 5-day grace period).

- Number of Directors. The organization shall be managed by a Board of Directors consisting of no fewer than 7 and no more than 25 Director(s).
- Election and Term of Office. The Directors shall be elected at the annual meeting each year. A Nominating
- Committee of at least three (3) members shall be appointed by the President of the Council to present a slate of candidates to the current Board for election during the annual meeting. The slate of nominees will be presented to the Board no later than September 1 each year. The newly nominated Directors will be introduced to the general membership as nominees, but voted upon by the current Board members ONLY. These introductions will take place each year at the annual membership meeting.
- Each Director shall serve a term of 3 year(s), or until a successor has been elected and qualified. The term shall commence beginning January 1 of the year following their election onto the Board and shall end December 31st three (3) years following. There shall be no restriction on the number of terms a member of the Board may be re-elected.
- Board members may decline to be re-elected at the end of their term. The Board will have rotating Directors with a new slate of Directors being added each year.
